Meal Times

At Our Lady’s we provide a balanced, healthy and varied diet for all the children. We use a local butcher and greengrocer and can trace all our meat to source. All meals are cooked in our own kitchen, with fresh ingredients daily. We are able to accommodate all kinds of dietary requirements.

We encourage the children to have good table manners and learn the basic skills of using cutlery from the earliest age. The aim is for the children to enjoy their food, to be sociable, to take their time and, as they get older, to make choices about what they eat, in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Our Lady’s has joined the National Food Partnership, we are actively increasing our use of organic meat and vegetables and are growing our own vegetables in the school garden.
