Admissions

Children can gain admission to Our Lady’s from the age of three months when they are accepted into out Day Care Facility. The Day Nursery is open from 8am to 6pm for 51 weeks of the year.

From the age of 3 years children naturally progress into our Pre School Nursery, where full day care is available or if desired on a term time only basis. Children can remain in the Nursery until they reach statutory school age if parents wish.

In the September after their fourth birthday, children whose parents intend them to remain at Our Lady’s will move into the Reception Class.

The Pre Prep (Infants) Department caters for children from 5 to 7 years of age.

The Prep classes run from Year 3 to Year 6 and give a solid academic education to pupils from 8 to 11 years of age.

Our Lady’s is a non selective school and admissions are gained through an interview process. Should you wish to know more regarding entry requirements please refer to the Admission Policy found on this site.

At present we are in the process of re-launching Our Lady’s School and are recruiting pupils for the Reception/Pre-Prep Department (4 to 6 years of age) with a view to entry on or before September 2010.

As a Catholic school Our Lady’s is committed to making Independent education accessible to a wide market.  We believe our competitive, affordable, all inclusive fees will attract parents who are looking for small class sizes and tailor made education. The current fee structure means that Pre Prep pupils can be educated for £6,861 per annum and Prep Pupils for £7,386.

In this economic climate the Trustees have taken into account the implications of a term’s notice period and have introduced monthly payment of fees for all age groups of children.  In addition, should you wish to withdraw your child from Our Lady’s, the requirement is just one month’s notice or one month’s payment in lieu of notice.

Throughout the school the day starts at 8am and children can be cared for until 6pm at no extra charge to parents. We are currently investigating the demand for an earlier start and should parents require this facility, Our Lady’s will offer care from 7am.
