Our Lady’s provides excellent teaching and small class sizes to enable every pupil to reach their true potential. Pupils at our school exceed national averages across every subject. Our Lady’s is a non-selective school.
 
Our 2009 Key Stage 2 results:

This year, as in previous years, the children in Prep IV (Year 6) who sat their end of year tests performed exceptionally well.
 
The expected Level of Achievement for children at this stage is Level 4 –

100% of our children achieved this - level 4 or above in all subjects
100% achieved Level 5 in English
75% achieved Level 5 in Maths
75 % achieved Level 5 in Science


Our 2008 Key Stage 2 results:

100% of our pupils achieved level 4 or above in all subjects 
100% of our pupils achieved level 5 in Science (national average 44%) 
67% of our pupils achieved level 5 in English (national average 29%) 
50% of our pupils achieved level 5 in Maths (national average 31%)
 

Our 2007 Key Stage 2 results were excellent, putting us well ahead of national averages:
 
100% of our pupils achieved level 4 or above in all subjects
92% of our pupils achieved level 5 in Science (national average 33%)
92% of our pupils achieved level 5 in Maths (national average 33%)
85% of our pupils achieved level 5 in English (national average 46%)

Our teachers encourage pupils to give their full effort at all times. Pupils move on from Our Lady’s to a diverse selection of secondary schools.  The majority of our pupils gain scholarships and others have been awarded places in grammar schools of their choice:
